Questions for a New Year’s Eve Reflection
1. What was the single best thing that happened this past year?
Becoming a mommy was absolutley THE single..best..thing
2. What was the single most challenging thing that happened?
Most challenging...adjusting from working full time, 5 days a week to being home all day, everyday with little to no adult interaction. Dont get me wrong, I know that I am more than blessed to be able to be home with my daughter and wouldnt change it for the world but a major adjustment none the less.
3. What was an unexpected joy this past year?
Again...I dont think I realized how much I would LOVE my days at home with my monk
4. What was an unexpected obstacle?
Probablly learning how to spread myself out so everything got done around the house, errands got ran, everyone got the attention and love from me that they deserve; all while finding those couple minutes for myself...didnt realize I could stretch so far.
5. With whom were your most valuable relationships?
My Mommy and Quinn...Wouldnt have been able to get over all the little bumps in the road without their love and support
6. What was your biggest personal change from January to December 2010?
mmmm...probablly losing the 60 lbs gained while I was pregnant. YEA-YAA!! Come and gone!
7. What was your single biggest time waster in your life this past year?
I  think i spent alot of time trying to figure out what happened several relationships...realized being a young mom and wife I'm at a different phase in life than alot of  "peers". I was trying  to maintain a relationship with people from high school when none of are the same people we were then. Still makes me sad :( part of growing up i guess...
8. What was the best way you used your time this past year?
I got alot done on the inside of our house, making it more "us". Got just about every room painted, the kitchen twice...ha ha about to begin the 3rd kitchen redo, trial and error, right?? Goal for spring 2011 is get our yard where I want it....
9. What was biggest thing you learned this past year?
               Patience, patience, patience
